:Harvey: Partners With Everlaw to Power Evidence-Backed Legal Work

Litigation teams will be able to work with evidence from Everlaw directly in Harvey, helping them move faster from discovery to strategy.

by Harvey TeamSep 3, 2026

Litigation can involve enormous volumes of data, with millions of documents and complex metadata living within platforms built to store, process, and index it — all with a verifiable chain of custody.

Legal teams are already using Harvey for high-stakes disputes, from building chronologies and deposing witnesses to drafting memoranda and briefs. But accessing evidence stored in discovery platforms often requires teams to leave Harvey and move between systems.

Today we're announcing a partnership with Everlaw that lets Harvey work with that evidence where it already lives, so teams can better analyze the record, understand the facts, and run complex legal workflows.

Move From Discovery to Verdict, Faster

Everlaw is a leading AI-powered litigation and investigation platform. It serves as the evidence layer for legal AI and provides a secure, defensible system of record that keeps workflows organized and actionable.

Harvey and Everlaw are building an integration using the Model Context Protocol that lets users query across evidence in Everlaw directly from Harvey. Joint users will be able to search across and retrieve all of their evidence and data in Everlaw, even for matters containing millions of documents. This combines Everlaw's scale with Harvey's agentic capabilities to help teams uncover connections and insights across complex datasets.

This integration is the first phase of a longer-term partnership between Harvey and Everlaw. Future capabilities will allow teams access content from Everlaw into Harvey to leverage a wider range of workflows.

We expect the integration to be available to joint Harvey and Everlaw customers in fall 2026.

What You Can do With the Integration

Harvey users will be able to ask questions, run analyses, and draft work product grounded in the evidence held in Everlaw, with outputs cited back to the source documents.

The integration enables key litigation use cases such as:

  • Early Case Assessment: Get to a working thesis on an unfamiliar matter by asking the record directly, instead of spending the first week requesting and reading document sets.
  • Chronology and Timeline Building: Construct a defensible timeline of who knew what and when, with every entry cited back to its source document in Everlaw.
  • Deposition Preparation: Assemble a custodian's own record across the topics that matter, identify where their account shifts, and draft the outline against those documents in one place.
  • Regulatory and Second Request Response: Answer what the company knew and when, directly against the collection, without standing up a parallel review workstream.

Connecting Advanced Legal Reasoning With Governed Evidence

Together, Harvey and Everlaw will help legal teams bring evidence directly into their litigation workflows.

The partnership brings more of the tools and information legal teams rely on into one connected environment.

By continuing to expand its ecosystem, Harvey is helping teams collaborate more effectively, preserve context across their work, and access the capabilities they need without switching platforms or stitching information together manually.
