Trusted Legal AI for the US Public Sector: Harvey Achieves TX-RAMP Level 2 Certification
Harvey has achieved TX-RAMP Level 2 certification - demonstrating that it meets Texas’s security requirements for cloud services handling confidential or regulated government data.
Today, we’re proud to announce Harvey has achieved Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP) Level 2 certification, effective September 22, 2026.
This certification means Texas state agencies, state courts and public institutions of higher education can now bring Harvey’s full-stack legal AI platform into their work on sensitive legal matters.

What TX-RAMP Level 2 Certifies
Administered by the Texas Department of Information Resources, TX-RAMP provides a standardized approach to the security assessment, certification, and continuous monitoring of cloud services used by Texas state agencies. TX-RAMP adds assurance specifically designed for the needs of Texas government.
Level 2 is the program’s certification level for cloud services that process, store, or transmit confidential or regulated data in moderate- or high-impact systems. Certification requires a cloud service to satisfy the applicable Level 2 assessment criteria and continue meeting the program’s requirements.
For customers, this provides a clearer and more consistent way to evaluate whether a cloud provider has implemented the safeguards required for sensitive government information.
