Harvey Team
This month, we’ve continued to make Harvey smarter, more customizable, and easier to use. From major model upgrades to small but mighty workflow improvements, here’s what’s new.
A More Intelligent :Harvey:
Workspace customization, enhanced models, and improved knowledge management.
Vault Knowledge Bases
Create internal knowledge bases to curate and standardize your proprietary expertise—streamlining legal workflows and ensuring higher-quality, more consistent researching and drafting.

Model Upgrades
We rolled out GPT-4.1 as the primary model powering Assist mode and Vault, improving baseline response quality, output length, and knowledge cutoff (May 2024 instead of October 2023). Draft mode has also been enhanced with a reasoning model, now delivering longer outputs, fewer hallucinations, better legal reasoning, and a more recent knowledge cutoff (May 2024 instead of October 2021).
Localized Vault Review Outputs
Vault Review table outputs—which historically tended to favor English—now adapt to explicit prompt instructions, the language of your query, or configuration of your user profile.
Custom Workspace Guidance and Notices
Admins can now surface important information with pop-up notices and recurring workspace guidance, accessible via the left sidebar for easy access throughout the platform.

A More Intuitive :Harvey:
Design polish, quality-of-life improvements, and a smoother user experience across the board.
Assist Mode UI Refresh
Assist mode now mirrors the agentic Assistant workflows UI with a cleaner chat-style layout, visible thinking states, and follow-up suggestions that persist in the thread.

Featured Knowledge Sources in Assistant Composer
Quickly pull in recently used and suggested knowledge sources when querying in Assist mode.

Global Search in Sidebar
Search across threads, projects, and workflows from a new global search button in the sidebar. You can also jump straight into viewing or creating a new Vault project.

Document Filter in Vault Review
When setting up a Vault Review table, use the new filter button to narrow documents by classification type.

Save to Vault from Assistant
You can now quickly save documents from any Assistant thread into an existing or new Vault project.

Cell Wrapping in Vault Review
See more content per cell in Vault Review tables by toggling on wrapped view—especially helpful for dense outputs.

Vault Upload Failure Log
If an upload to Vault fails, Harvey now shows a clear, consolidated error log so you can understand and resolve issues faster.
