Stinson LLP is adopting Harvey firmwide to enhance the delivery of legal services by streamlining time-intensive legal work. With this firmwide integration, Stinson is embedding AI into its operations as a deliberate, long-term investment, signaling a commitment to innovation that goes beyond early experimentation.

“The Harvey integration reflects our core mission to deliver exceptional client service while enriching how we collaborate and operate across the firm,” said Allison Murdock, Stinson’s Managing Partner. “We’re strategically embracing innovative technology for the benefit of our clients while providing advanced resources to support our attorneys.”

Harvey was selected for its proven capabilities for professional services and adoption by top companies. Following an extensive internal analysis, more than 100 attorneys across multiple practice divisions participated in the pilot group.

"Feedback from the initial pilot was overwhelmingly positive with attorneys identifying measurable ways the platform enables teams to devote more time to higher-value analysis, strategy and risk mitigation,” Murdock said.

The attorneys also reported meaningful gains in speed, consistency and collaboration in regulatory research, litigation preparation, and contract drafting and analysis. Attorneys used Harvey for automated transcript review and generation of deposition outlines from voluminous testimony, standard contract clause analysis and initial summarization in M&A due diligence, jumpstarting legal research and performing litigation trend analysis, and aiding in general contract issue spotting and clause drafting.

In conjunction with Harvey, Stinson is also deploying Ask LexisNexis, which brings LexisNexis content directly into Harvey. By using these tools in daily workflows, the firm’s attorneys can leverage LexisNexis’s highly respected legal resources in addition to Harvey’s native capabilities.

“Stinson’s adoption of Harvey underscores the firm’s commitment to supporting its attorneys and delivering high‑value client work. We’re proud to support and evolve alongside Stinson to enhance efficiency and collaboration across the firm,” said Winston Weinberg, CEO of Harvey.

Stinson is committed to responsible AI adoption, and is constantly exploring additional tools to enhance client service while ensuring appropriate oversight, data privacy, and security as the firm deploys this technology. By integrating Harvey AI and Ask LexisNexis across its operations, Stinson is enhancing efficiency, collaboration, and the delivery of high-value legal services for its clients.
