:Harvey:’s Box Integration: Your Legal Documents, Now in :Harvey:

Pull documents from Box directly into Harvey for faster analysis and deeper insights across your legal workflows.

by Harvey TeamMar 18, 2026

Many security-conscious organizations rely on Box to store and intelligently manage their most important and sensitive documents, from contracts and diligence materials to case files and internal policies. In-depth legal analysis often requires professionals to create local copies of client documents. With Box and Harvey, there's a better way.

Today, we’re excited to announce Harvey’s Box integration, enabling teams to securely access and analyze Box documents directly within Harvey, reducing content duplication and data leakage.

As AI becomes more embedded in daily work, it’s increasingly important that tools integrate with the systems where that work already happens. Box, as the leader in Intelligent Content Management, serves as the foundation for managing contracts, case files, and institutional knowledge. And together, legal teams can apply AI directly to the documents they already manage — making it easier and more secure to move from documents to insights.

Turn Box Documents Into Legal Insights

Teams can bring documents directly from Box into Harvey Assistant, Workflow agents, and vaults, and apply AI-powered analysis to the documents they already manage in their system of record. Instead of moving documents between tools, users can simply select the files they need from Box and begin analyzing, reviewing, and drafting directly within Harvey.

Legal teams can use the integration for:

  • Due Diligence and Document Review: Bring transaction or diligence folders into Vault to review large sets of documents and surface important provisions or issues.
  • Litigation and Investigation Preparation: Analyze case files, discovery materials, and internal documents to summarize key information and quickly identify relevant insights.
  • Compliance and Policy Analysis: Review internal policies, procedures, and regulatory documents stored in Box to identify inconsistencies, extract requirements, and analyze obligations.

Built With Security and Control in Mind

The Box integration is designed to work within the governance and access controls organizations already rely on. OAuth-scoped access ensures IT and knowledge teams remain in control of their Box environment, and Harvey only accesses the files that users explicitly select, never an organization’s entire Box repository.

This approach also means teams no longer need to create local copies of sensitive client documents to run an analysis. When Box is the source, Harvey works directly with those files so organizations can keep their existing permissions and governance policies intact.

The Box integration is live for current Harvey customers. If you want to learn more about how Harvey helps legal teams work smarter, contact our team:
