More Specialized, More Personalized: Announcements From Harvey FORUM Chicago

At Harvey FORUM Chicago, the product keynote showed how Harvey is bringing deeper context and more tailored solutions to legal teams.

Today is Harvey FORUM Chicago, bringing together more than 500 leaders from law firms, in-house legal teams, and the legal ecosystem for candid conversations about how AI is changing legal work.

During the product keynote, we shared how Harvey is driving the next phase of AI in legal work forward: more personalization to your team and organization’s ways of working and deeper specialization into practice areas. Here’s a closer look at what’s coming to Harvey.

Context Will Take Legal AI to the Next Level of Value

Harvey co-founder and CEO Winston Weinberg opened the keynote with a prediction for 2027: legal AI moving from a tool you prompt to a team that you run. Getting there depends on two things: agents that know a matter or project as well as its lawyers do and firms that can govern those agents with confidence.

The first is a context problem. Today, many prompts start cold — a lawyer gathers the documents, explains the background, and clarifies every preference. That’s workable for a chat assistant, but it breaks down the moment agents need to carry a matter from one step to the next or when multiple lawyers and agents are collaborating on the project.

That’s what Harvey Graph is built for. It maps the relationships across a firm or team’s matter or project, so agents share a map of the work instead of rebuilding it at every step. This shared context is what helps make teams of legal agents and more sophisticated output possible: they can only hand work to one another if they understand it the same way.

“Think about the best manager you've ever had. They gave you proactive guidance on what to do and context on how to do it. That's what we’re building into our agents: context and control, so they operate the way you and your team do every step of the way.”

iManage: Two-Way Sync to Your System of Record

For many of the firms in the room, context about a matter begins in iManage. Shawn Misquitta, who leads product at iManage, joined Winston to talk about what our teams are building together next and the value for shared customers.

The main takeaway? Read-only access isn't enough. Harvey and iManage have built a two-way integration that will be in early access soon. Context flows into Harvey, finished work flows back to iManage, and iManage remains the system of record. The ethical wall policies your firm already maintains in iManage carry over and are enforced in Harvey.

Three ways Harvey Will Get More Personalized and More Specialized

Harvey’s Chief Product Officer, Anique Drumright shared how Harvey is becoming more personalized for how your teams serve the business and specialized to what your practice area needs.

Outlook: Harvey Where You Already Work

Harvey agents are now in Outlook, giving you a legal AI assistant inside the inbox and calendar you already live in, tailored to exactly how you work. Here’s a look at what the agent can do:

  • Triage and filing: Sort incoming email by matter or deal and file attachments to the right Vault, so your day starts organized instead of with cleanup.
  • Drafting and scheduling: Drafts replies and propose resolutions to scheduling conflicts without leaving the thread.
  • Work that kicks off from email: Suggest and start first-pass review when a new draft lands, pulling in context from your firm’s connected systems.
  • Agents you build yourself: A personal daily briefing agent can triage your inbox overnight so the summary is waiting when you start your day.
  • You approve every step: Nothing is sent, filed, or changed without you seeing it first.
Outlook Agents

The demo followed an M&A partner through a Tuesday morning: overnight triage done, a purchase agreement draft reviewed, a client’s prior LOIs pulled for a negotiation question, all from her inbox. The value was an easier morning,

In-House: A Request That Routes Itself

For in-house teams, we showed Harvey’s new Intake solution alongside updates to Contract Intelligence. Together they take a contract request from the business all the way to a signed agreement, on your team’s own rules.

  • Intake picks up the request: The request is taken straight from the email the business sends to Legal, no form or portal required.
  • Context gathered automatically: Deal background and past contracts are pulled before a lawyer ever opens the request.
  • Follow-up in the same thread: Harvey asks the requester the clarifying questions your team would ask, where they already are.
  • Routing by your rules: Harvey sends the work to a Contract Review Agent and the right lawyer based on how your team has defined relevant parameters.
  • Standard-based redlines: The lawyer receives a first pass with every redline traced to your precedents and standards, ready to approve.
  • Closes the loop: The reviewed contract goes back to the requester in the original thread, and once signed it feeds your contract insights for next time.
Intake

The demo showed in-house legal reviews without the busywork: no manual triage or hunting for context on business requests, just the strategic review that matters. Ultimately, these new capabilities help in-house teams accelerate the business and mitigate risk.

Fact Graph: A Living Record of the Facts for Disputes, Litigation, and Investigations

The product keynote included the first public look at new Harvey capabilities for litigation and internal investigations, powered by the fact graph.

  • A single fact record: One place where the facts come together, growing as new evidence emerges and supporting work at every stage.
  • Every fact linked to its source: Making the record defensible, not just organized.
  • Build work product: Turn that shared record into chronologies, summaries, and other work product grounded in the underlying facts and sources.
  • Seamless handoffs: Carry the record and its context between teams and stages, so each team can build on the work already done.
Fact Graph

The Harvey fact graph is a new capability, enabling workflows for litigation and investigations teams. Litigators make up a third of Harvey’s customer base. They already use Harvey today, but often run into a cold start problem of rebuilding connections each time, keeping work product current, and reframing the strategy as matters evolve. The fact graph is a dedicated capability just for these workflows.

We’re building the fact graph with design partners now, and early access is open. Learn more and join the waitlist here.
