Harvey, a leading provider of generative AI solutions for the legal industry, is proud to announce that CMS, a top-tier international law firm recognized for its scale and leadership in legal innovation, has expanded access to Harvey firmwide across all 21 member firms in more than 50 countries. The rollout will provide over 7,000 CMS lawyers and staff with access to Harvey, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to innovation and the use of advanced technology to deliver high-quality legal services at scale.

Harvey enables CMS lawyers to work more efficiently and securely on high-volume matters such as contract review, due diligence, and regulatory analysis. These are core areas where CMS combines legal expertise with cutting-edge technology to deliver consistent and efficient results for clients. Before this expansion, Harvey was already widely used across CMS, with more than 1,100 daily active users and nearly 3,000 monthly users.

CMS has achieved the largest law firm rollout of Harvey in EMEA by seats to date. With Harvey now fully embedded into workflows globally, CMS continues to set a high bar for how large law firms leverage AI to enhance client delivery.

“We are excited to expand our partnership with Harvey and for even more of our lawyers to use the platform,” said John Craske, Chief Knowledge and Innovation Officer at CMS UK. “The adoption of generative AI tools across the firm has been remarkable and speaks volumes about our people’s appetite for innovation. This enthusiasm reflects our collective drive to stay ahead of the curve and deliver the highest-quality outcomes for our clients.”

“Expanding Harvey across our global organisation is about scaling the best of CMS—our judgement, sector insight and cross-border capability—with the power of AI,” said Stephen Millar, Managing Partner at CMS UK. “Our lawyers are already seeing meaningful time savings, which we’re reinvesting into higher‑value work and sharper outcomes for clients. This is a practical, client‑led step that strengthens quality, consistency and value across every matter we handle.”

Winston Weinberg, CEO of Harvey, said: “We are proud to have CMS as a long-standing customer of Harvey, and to see their decision to extend access to all of their lawyers and team members. Their commitment to scaling Harvey reflects true leadership in innovation. We’re honored to support CMS as they embrace AI to enhance legal practice worldwide.”

The expansion follows extensive collaboration between CMS and Harvey to ensure that implementation meets the highest standards of reliability, performance, and security. While both teams continue to refine system robustness, CMS’s firmwide deployment underscores how AI is becoming central to both client service and professional growth within the modern legal industry.

Jane Challoner, CMS Director of Innovation, Knowledge and Learning, adds: “At CMS, we are focused on innovating to make a real difference for our clients. Rolling out Harvey across the firm brings generative AI into the core of how we work - helping our lawyers not just save time but amplify their expertise and human insights. That means our global teams can focus on what really matters: tackling complex challenges and delivering outstanding results for our clients around the world.”
