This Acceptable Use Policy is part of Your Terms with Harvey. Any capitalized terms used but not defined in this Acceptable Use Policy have the meaning set forth in the Terms.
Global Policy
You agree not to, and not direct or allow users, or third parties to use the Service to:
- violate applicable laws. This includes using the Service to:
- violate, encourage the violation of, or otherwise compromise the privacy or legal rights of others;
- infringe, misappropriate, or violate the intellectual property rights of a third party;
- identify an individual from biometric data or create a biometric database;
- exploit the vulnerabilities of an individual or group of individuals arising from their age, disability, or specific social or economic situation, with the aim of distorting their behavior in a manner likely to cause them harm;
- evaluate or classify individuals based on their social behavior or personal; or
- characterize individuals (including social scoring or profiling) in a manner that results in detrimental, unfair, or unfavorable treatment.
- compromise the security and integrity of others or the Service. This includes to:
- intentionally distribute viruses, worms, Trojan horses, corrupted files, hoaxes, or other items of a destructive or deceptive nature;
- interfere with the use of the Services, or the equipment used to provide the Services; or
- disable, interfere with or circumvent any aspect of the Services.
- build products or features that compete with the Service;
- provide legal advice without human review;
- make automated decisions that have a material or detrimental impact on individual rights without human supervision; or
- make decisions or be a substantial factor in making decisions about:
- access to education and educational opportunities;
- employment opportunities;
- an individual’s eligibility or entitlement to legal services or legal representation; or without material human involvement.
European Union Policy
To the extent any Output is used by Customer or users in the European Union or, if Customer or any users are located within the European Union, You further agree that you will not use the Service to:
- make decisions about an individual’s enrollment, access, or admission to educational opportunities;
- evaluate learning outcomes in educational or vocational training;
- assess the appropriate level of education that an individual will receive or will be able to access in educational or vocational training; or
- research and interpret facts and the law and in applying the law to a concrete set of facts, if you are a judicial authority or acting on behalf of a judicial authority.
