As a Solutions Architect (SA) at Harvey, you will drive the growth and success of our AI solutions within the legal and professional services markets, working with customers and prospects to ensure that our solutions meet their business and technical needs. Reporting to our Head of Technical Services, you will be working alongside Account Executives (AEs) and Account Managers (AMs), you will educate prospects and customers on the technical aspects  and power of Harvey’s solutions, LLMs, and the future of AI in the legal and professional services space.

SAs work across Information Technology, Operations, and Knowledge Management teams, including executive-level members of our customer’s firms. Within Harvey, SAs partner closely with our engineering, product, customer service, account management, and sales teams to deliver outstanding results for our customers and drive innovation. Your ability to articulate the value of Harvey's solutions, coupled with your passion for groundbreaking AI technologies, will help us shape the future of knowledge work.

As a founding member of the Solutions Architecture team, you will help shape the future of pre-sales and post-sales technical engagement at Harvey. You will have an opportunity to explore AI technologies to enhance our day-to-day activities and interactions with our customers.


  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, serving as their technical thought partner to understand their pain points and align Harvey's solutions with their needs.

  • Provide technical guidance on integration, deployment, and adoption best practices.

  • Conduct and participate in product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the power of Harvey's AI systems to prospects and clients.

  • Be the voice of customers to influence product direction and features.

  • Provide structured feedback and work closely with Harvey’s product and engineering team to drive innovation.

  • Become an expert on Harvey’s products, security, configuration, and authentication options. 

  • Advise customers on optimal setup, architecture, and integration of Harvey into their existing infrastructure. As well as recommend solutions to technical roadblocks.

  • Work alongside our security team to draft responses to technical questions in RFPs. 

  • Scale the Solutions Architect function through sharing knowledge and codifying best practices..


  • 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales technical role

  • Strong understanding of modern software development technology and practices

  • Relentless drive to seek out solutions to customer issues and a user first mentality

  • Experience supporting complex software products

  • Have a self-motivated, results-oriented work style

  • Have strong presentation and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python, Javascript, React, and SQL

  • Experience with GCP, AWS, and Azure

  • Experience with AI technologies and prompt engineering (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude)

  • Experience with user authentication strategies (e.g. SAML, SSO)

  • An understanding of legal concepts including but not limited to contracts, securities filings, M&A, and other common practice areas


The expected range of compensation for this role is between $130,000 and $300,000. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in our equity plan.  The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
