Role

Harvey is a quickly growing series A startup. We have ~50 employees across our offices in San Francisco and New York. Our IT environment has so far been setup and managed by our senior engineers and you will be our first dedicated IT hire.

Although Harvey is a young company, our IT environment is quite mature, driven by our strict security demands. For example, all devices are centrally managed, all corporate apps utilize SCIM and SSO. The environment is 100% MacOS and cloud with only basic on-prem hardware.

There is an opportunity and need to go deep into a broad range of IT topics. You will work in a dynamic startup environments with constantly evolving needs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain corporate network, WiFi, and video conferencing equipment

  • Provide desktop (MacOS) support to our business teams

  • Provide executive IT support to our founders

  • Assist users with password resets

  • Manage our endpoint protection solution (CrowdStrike Falcon)

  • Produce necessary compliance documentation in collaboration with our Head of Security

  • Maintain access control groups

  • Maintain relationships with vendors

Qualifications

  • Coding — our IT processes are mostly automated

  • Deep knowledge of operating systems, especially MacOS

  • Experience working at or with a small company or a hyper-growth startup.

  • Customer service orientation

  • Great at debugging weird system behaviors

  • Security-conscious

  • Reliable availability

Experience

  • 4+ years experience in IT-related roles
